MC = Microcurrent. Healy programs marked with MC typically involve one or a few frequencies to achieve specific healing purposes. For example, the I (Chronic Pain) program within the Local Stimulation program is primarily aimed at relieving chronic pain (one purpose). The preferred method of using Healy programs marked with MC is usually through the application of adhesive electrodes in the affected area, although using the Healy Coil is also possible, but the effects may not be as rapid. Children or individuals sensitive to electromagnetic fields can use the MC programs through the Healy Coil to avoid any discomfort that may arise from direct electrode application.
